Spectrum Health Offers Two Opportunities to Donate Blood

Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital will be offering two opportunities to donate blood on Tuesday, April 26th. The Michigan Blood Bus will be in Reed City at Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital, 300 North Patterson Road from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and then in Evart at Spectrum Health Evart Family Practice, located at the corner of 95th Avenue and US10 (5991 95th Avenue) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

First time donors at either site are more than welcome. The entire donation process (registration, a brief health screening, blood collection, and time for refreshments) takes approximately 45-60 minutes. It takes only about 10 minutes to collect your blood. Don’t wait -give the gift of life this month!

Any healthy person 16 years of age with written consent from a parent or older who weighs 110 lbs. or more may be eligible to give blood every 56 days. Please bring photo ID or two pieces of non-photo ID with you. Walk in appointments are available or you may call 231-832-4090 if you prefer to make an appointment.
