Spectrum Health Opens Ada Facility

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Jan. 2, 2018 – Spectrum Health will officially open its newest integrated care campus to patients this week, offering quality health care services at a location easily accessible to patients living or working in or near Ada, Michigan.
The new Integrated Care Campus (ICC) at Ada, 7128 Fulton St. E., will open to patients on Monday, January 8. The community is invited to tour the new facility during an OPEN HOUSE from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 4.
“We are very excited to introduce our convenient and coordinated health services to the Ada community,” said Tina Freese Decker, MHA, MSIE, FACHE, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Spectrum Health. “Our patients have told us they want access to quality health care in their neighborhoods, and we are proud to open this wonderful new facility to serve the needs of those living in Ada and the surrounding communities.”
Freese Decker added that Spectrum Health plans to be an active community member and has already participated in local community events such as the Ada Farmers Market and Tinsel Trolley and Treats.
The new 24,400 square foot, two-story facility will provide patients with primary care, pediatrics, women’s health services, radiology, lab and outpatient rehabilitation. In addition, occupational health services currently located within the neighboring Amway facilities will now be available in the ICC.
An integrated care campus is designed to enhance the patient experience. Patients can avoid traveling from location to location for additional health services. Providers are located together in a state-of-the-art facility and are easily available for consultation when needed.
Spectrum Health constructed its first integrated care campus in 2012 in Holland. Other integrated care campuses include: East Beltline in Grand Rapids (2014), Ionia (2016) North Muskegon (2016), Rockford (2017) and 426 Michigan Street in Grand Rapids (2017).
The campus was designed and constructed by two local firms – Dixon Architecture and Erhardt Construction.
