Spectrum Health Outpatient Rehabilitation Offices in Zeeland Moving

ZEELAND, Mich., Feb. 24, 2020 – Spectrum Health adult and pediatric outpatient rehabilitation facilities in the Holland and Zeeland areas are reorganizing to better serve patients and families.

On March 2, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation will be provided at 400 South State Street in Zeeland. The Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital facility at 8333 Felch Street, Suite 101 is now serving adults who need outpatient rehabilitation.

“These changes enable us to expand our rehabilitation services and give patients more care options closer to home,” said Kristen Morrison, rehabilitation manager for Spectrum Health in Hastings, Holland and Zeeland. “You’ll see the same therapists and the same helpful office staff members.”

All pediatric services are now located at the State Street office in Zeeland. This campus is aligned with physical, occupational and speech therapy resources from Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

“There is more child-friendly equipment in the gym space and treatment area,” Morrison explained. With the exclusive pediatric focus, there is an opportunity for future growth and expansion.”

The Zeeland Community Hospital facility focus on adult outpatient rehabilitation enables better outcomes along with the opportunity to identify and address community needs. The Holland Integrated Care Campus, located at 588 Lakewood in Holland will continue to serve adult outpatient rehabilitation patients.

“Our intention is to provide more services that allow patients to receive advanced rehabilitation therapy locally, within our communities,” Morrison added.
