Spectrum Health Pennock Consolidates Clinics to Alleviate Spread and Manage Needs

March 20, 2020

HASTINGS, Mich., March 20, 2020 – Spectrum Health Pennock announced it will be temporarily consolidating primary care locations to help limit potential exposure to COVID-19 for patients and team members. This also helps ensure critical staff are available for COVID-19 related needs.

Effective end of day Friday, March 20, these changes will take place with Spectrum Health Pennock primary care locations:

  • Spectrum Health Pennock Family Medicine – Gun Lake and Spectrum Health Pennock Family Medicine – Middleville will consolidate into Spectrum Health Pennock Family, Internal & Pediatric Medicine – Hastings
  • SHMG Family Medicine – Caledonia and SHMG Internal Medicine Pediatrics – Lowell will consolidate into Spectrum Health Integrated Care Campus – Ada
  • Spectrum Health Pennock Family Medicine – Lake Odessa will consolidate into Spectrum Health Pennock Integrated Care Campus – Ionia

Patients with essential or acute needs will be seen in the clinics. All other necessary appointments will be conducted virtually. Those with scheduled appointments will be contacted to discuss moving their appointment to a virtual visit or other options at this time.

Patients should continue to call their primary care clinic with questions and staff will assist with next steps. All Spectrum Health offices are following strict guidelines, accepting no walk in appointments; patients must call their office first to receive direction on next steps. This is to help avoid the spread of COVID-19. At this time, online scheduling has been deactivated.

All services within the consolidated clinic buildings are closed; this includes Gun Lake, Middleville, Lake Odessa, Lowell and Caledonia. Walk in x-ray patients are asked to visit State Street Center or Spectrum Health Pennock Integrated Care Campus – Ionia. Those with lab needs may visit Pennock hospital, State Street Center or Pennock Integrated Care Campus – Ionia.
