Spectrum Health Presents Northern Lights Award for Business and Industry

Award praises Randy Ostrander’s passion for strong community.

BIG RAPIDS, Mich., May 11, 2017 – In honor of his extensive service to Mecosta County, Randy Ostrander, owner of Lake and Lodge Realty in Big Rapids, was awarded the 2017 Northern Lights Award for Business and Industry.

The Northern Lights awards are given by the Spectrum Health Foundation Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals each year to recognize the contributions of outstanding individuals, groups or programs making a difference in our region.

Randy Ostrander’s compassion and loyalty to his community is far-reaching. He has dedicated his time to ensure the community is provided a safe haven to call home. He has proudly served on numerous boards and organizations as the former president of the Mecosta County Area Chamber Of Commerce, current president of the West Central Board of Realtors, president of the Big Rapids Downtown Business Association, board member of the Downtown Development Authority, chairman for the Pioneer Chamber Golf Open and member of the Commerce Welcome Center Fundraising Committee. Randy is known as a strong advocate of WISE, Artworks and a variety of other local organizations.
