Spectrum Health Recognized for Human Resource Services

Spectrum Health has been busy revamping its human resource services to attract and retain top employees. These efforts have been recognized in a new honor received by its chief human resource executive.

Roger Jansen, PhD, senior vice president and chief human resource officer (CHRO), Spectrum Health, has been named to a list of the Top 10 Breakaway Leaders in the field of human resources.

This honor, presented by the Evanta Leadership Network, celebrates world-class human resource leaders who deliver value by engaging and developing the global workforce of tomorrow. Those honored are the top leaders in their field who are changing the face of human resources and inspiring a legacy of excellence.

“Our employees are critical to our success as a health system. This award recognizes Roger’s efforts to guide us through significant changes in how we provide human resource services at Spectrum Health,” said Richard C. Breon, President & CEO, Spectrum Health. “Roger’s insight and leadership have been essential as we have worked to provide a value-added, timely and transparent experience to our 19,000 employees.”
