Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital Offers Free Seasonal Flu Clinics at Family Practice Sites

Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital wants to ensure that cost and access are not barriers to getting a seasonal flu vaccine this year and are therefore giving away nearly 300 doses at their Family Practice sites in Reed City, Tustin and Evart.

“We are attempting to reach those people who up to this point have not been able to afford it,” states chief financial officer, Tom Knoerl. “Removing the financial barriers and focusing on preventative measures will go a long way in protecting our community members.”

The vaccine is available for anyone over the age of 18 years and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. No appointment is necessary. Locations and times of flu clinics are as follows:

  • Wednesday, January 6th, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Spectrum Health Tustin Family Practice, 111 E. Church Street, downtown Tustin
  • Thursday, January 7th, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Spectrum Health Reed City Family Practice, 300 N. Patterson Road, inside the hospital in Reed City
