Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital Offers Two Opportunities to Donate Blood

Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital will be offering two upcoming opportunities to donate blood.

On Friday, February 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Michigan Blood Bus will be at the Spectrum Health Evart Family Practice Clinic located at 5991 S. 95th Avenue in Evart.

On Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Michigan Blood will be set up inside Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital, which is located at 300 North Patterson Road, Reed City.

First time donors at either site are more than welcome. The entire donation process (registration, a brief health screening, blood collection, and time for refreshments) takes approximately 45-60 minutes. It takes only about 10 minutes to collect your blood. Don’t wait -give the gift of life this month!

Any healthy person 16 years of age with written consent from a parent or older who weighs 110 lbs. or more may be eligible to give blood every 56 days. Please bring photo ID or two pieces of non-photo ID with you. Walk in appointments are available or you may call 231-832-4090 if you prefer to make an appointment or if you have questions.
