Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital Rehab and Nursing Center To Hold 7th Annual Ice Cream Social on August 9

The activities department of the Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital Rehab and Nursing Center (formerly known as the skilled nursing facility) of Reed City will be holding their 7th annual ice cream social with musical entertainment on Sunday, August 9, 2009. The award-winning Eden Care facility has recently completed a 1,400-square-foot addition of a four seasons room. An outdoor patio and gardening area will compliment this latest improvement to the facility. Proceeds from the ice cream social will support the project.

The ice cream social will take place August 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. under the big tent in front of the Rehab and Nursing Center on the hospital grounds. The Jack Pine Pickers who specialize in Old Time Country and Gospel will provide the music and invite everyone to bring their friends and family for an afternoon of great treats and good music. The Elders and staff of the rehab and nursing center will be selling both sundaes and waffle cones and will be holding a 50/50 raffle.
