Spectrum Health To Open Lakeview Walk-In Clinic
Greenville Walk-In Clinic adds weekend hours.
LAKEVIEW & GREENVILLE, Mich., August 12, 2021 – Area residents needing medical care evenings and weekends will soon enjoy the convenience of walk-in clinics open seven days a week in both Greenville and Lakeview.
Spectrum Health United and Kelsey Hospitals are pleased to announce the opening of a new walk-in clinic in Lakeview. Opening September 7, the clinic will be housed within the Lakeview Family Medicine building at 418 Washington Avenue—across the street from Kelsey Hospital.
In concert with the walk-in clinic opening in Lakeview, Spectrum Health United Hospital Walk-In Clinic – Greenville will expand it hours each weekday and include weekends.
Patients will be able to utilize both clinics Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
“We understand convenience of care is a huge priority for our patients, so we’re very excited to offer these expanded services,” said Andrea Leslie, president of Spectrum Health United, Kelsey, Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals. “Walk-in clinics are extremely popular with patients needing to see a medical provider, but not necessarily in an emergency situation. We are delighted to offer this convenient care option seven days a week.”
Two new medical providers, Deanna Block, PA-C, and Sada Brown, FNP-C, have been hired to lead the care team in Lakeview.
Block, who lives in nearby Morley, has worked previously for Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital.
“I’m super excited to work again in Lakeview,” Block said. “I look forward to getting reacquainted with people in the community.”
Block earned a bachelor of science degree in biology and master of science in medicine degree from Western Michigan University.
When she’s not practicing medicine, Block and her family raise livestock on their family farm. She also gives horseback riding lessons and enjoys hiking.
Brown lives on a lake near Remus and most recently worked as a family nurse practitioner in the emergency department at McLaren Central Michigan. She earned her family nurse practitioner master’s degree from Walden University.
She has been a registered nurse for 15 years, much of it practicing emergency medicine.
“I love caring for patients, addressing their needs and helping them feel better,” Brown said.
Brown enjoys camping, gardening, boating and spending time with her family and her dog, Bruce.
