Spectrum Health United Memorial Foundation Announces Meijer as Event Sponsor of Golf Day 2011

The Spectrum Health United Memorial Foundation recently announced Golf Day 2011 will take place on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Egypt Valley Country Club.  Avid Foundation supporter, Meijer, has generously committed to be the Golf Day 2011 Event Sponsor. 

Registration and a putting contest will kick-off Golf Day 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will follow at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.   Players will have a chance to win $10,000 cash, a luxury car lease, a fabulous vacation and many other exciting prizes.  The event concludes with the renowned Egypt Valley dinner buffet and award ceremony.

Golf Day 2011 proceeds will support Spectrum Health United Lifestyles programs. The professional staff at United Lifestyles reaches out to communities with CPR/First Aid classes; pregnancy, maternal and infant services; diabetes education; tobacco cessation classes; child passenger safety; nutrition services; weight management and many more programs and services to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices.

Golf Day 2011 raffle tickets are currently on sale and feature three unique raffles.

The first, the Eagle Raffle, offers fabulous prizes including:

  • Steelcase Walkstation: adjustable work area and commercial grade treadmill donated by Custer Workplace Interiors
  • Draft Beer Kegerator Dispenser donated by AGA Marvel

Plus more fabulous prizes including Authentic Red Wings home jersey autographed by the entire 2011 team, two round trip Allegiant airline tickets, U of M football tickets, golf getaways, entertainment package, tools, electronics, gas grill and much more!

The second, a cash raffle will share 50% of the profit equally with four lucky winners!

A third raffle is to be held only at Golf Day 2011. This raffle will feature golf packages at courses throughout Michigan, restaurant gift cards and numerous unique prizes donated by generous local businesses.
