Spectrum Health Urgent Care – Zeeland changes hours to better serve patient’s needs

ZEELAND, Mich., April 26, 2021 – To meet the growing needs of the community and to align with the operations of other Spectrum Health locations, the Spectrum Health Urgent Care – Zeeland announces a change in hours. Effective May 3, the urgent care will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. The office will be closed on holidays.

“We understand that timely service and convenience are important to our patients,” said Joel Lopez, MD, division chief, urgent care, Spectrum Health. “The accessibility of expanded hours both during the week and on weekends give patients greater options for unexpected treatment.”’

Spectrum Health Urgent Care – Zeeland provides treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, including:

Allergies
Asthma
Bruises/abrasions
Burns (minor)
Colds, coughs
Cuts (minor)
Earache
Eye infections/injuries
Fever
Flu/flu vaccinations
Headaches/migraines
Occupational health first injury
Sprains
Stitches (minor wounds)
Upper respiratory infections
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

The Spectrum Health Urgent Care – Zeeland is conveniently located in Suite 100A of the Medical Office Building, adjacent to the hospital’s main entrance. No appointment is necessary, however, patients may check-in online to save their spot in line at spectrumhealth.org/zeelandurgent.
