Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital Expanded Urgent Care Hours
ZEELAND, Mich., January 18, 2016 – Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital will be expanding their urgent care hours beginning February 1, 2016. The new hours of operation will be Monday to Friday, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital urgent care provides treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, including:
· Abrasions/cuts
· Allergies
· Asthma attacks (minor)
· Broken bones (minor)
· Bruises
· Burns (minor)
· Colds, cough, flu and sore throats
· Ear, eye and skin infections
· Ear or eye injuries (minor)
· Fevers
· Headaches or dizziness
· Minor wounds requiring stitches
· Sprains or strains
· Urinary tract infections
Patients can enter via the main entrance, which features ample and convenient parking and a covered drop-off area.
Located in the hospital, urgent care is steps away from x-ray, laboratory, cardiopulmonary and the emergency department. In addition, most prescriptions given during a visit can be filled immediately at the hospital’s InstyMeds™ medication dispenser.
