Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital Welcomes Tamara Elhart as Development Coordinator

ZEELAND, Mich., December 16, 2015 – Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Tamara Elhart as development coordinator for the Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital Foundation.

Elhart is a Lakeshore Chapter member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and a 2008 graduate of the Leadership West Michigan program through the West Coast Chamber of Commerce. Her development experience includes involvement with Hospice of Holland and Greater Ottawa County United Way. Most recently, Elhart served as the director of development for Kandu Incorporated. During her tenure, she was responsible for community engagement, fundraising efforts and grant writing.

In the development coordinator role at Zeeland Community Hospital, Elhart will be responsible for growing philanthropic support by cultivating relationships in the community and managing fund raising programs and events.

She and her husband Tom reside in the Grand Haven area. Elhart also owns and operates a business out of her home called Tamara’s Cooking Classes, LLC, where she teaches hands-on cooking classes to private individuals, groups and corporate teams.
