Women’s Health Provider Joins Big Rapids Medical Team
Dawn Robinson, FACOG, joins Spectrum Health Big Rapids OB/GYN staff.
Big Rapids, Mich., Dec. 18, 2019 – Dawn Robinson, MD, has delivered hundreds of babies in her 19-year career, but said she enjoys every single birth as if it was her first.
“I enjoy the relationships and deliveries,” Robinson said. “It’s a miracle every time.”
Robinson, a certified fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, has joined the medical staff at Spectrum Health Big Rapids Obstetrics and Gynecology and is now accepting patients.
Robinson most recently worked at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana and for Borgess Women’s Health in Kalamazoo.
A Colorado native, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. She completed her residency training at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
She has a particular interest in high-risk obstetrics, perimenopause and menopause. Robinson provides annual woman’s health exams and baseline infertility evaluations. She’s also an advocate for family planning.
“Lack of family planning can affect a patient and her family in many ways,” she said.
Robinson enjoys fishing and traveling with her two sons along with reading, dancing and spoiling her pitbull, Tipsy.
