BIG RAPIDS, Mich., September 3, 2020 – Geoff Scott, MD, has joined the medical team at Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital to provide obstetrics and gynecology services to women in the community.

A native of Denver, Colorado, Scott received his bachelor’s degree from Calvin College and his medical degree from Michigan State University.

While in college, he fell in love with Michigan and his wife Amanda.

He’s happy to be back in Michigan after recently completing his residency training at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.

“Michigan just always felt like home,” he said.

Scott said he enjoys all facets of women’s health.

“I like being able to take care of a woman across her lifespan, and I find the practice of it rewarding,” he said.

He also enjoys minimally invasive and robotic surgery and considers it an honor and a privilege to deliver babies, being there for one of the most important moments in people’s lives.

Scott and his wife Amanda live in Big Rapids with their two young daughters.
