Yelena Davis, MD, Joins Spectrum Health United Hospital OB/GYN Team

GREENVILLE, Mich., August 6, 2021 – Yelena Davis, MD, has joined Spectrum Health United Hospital OB/GYN as a its newest women’s health provider.

“I am ecstatic to join the Greenville community as an OB/GYN physician at United Hospital and for Greenville to become home for my family,” Dr. Davis said. “I have a passion for supporting women throughout their lifespan and utilizing a holistic approach to achieve health and wellness.”

Dr. Davis completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Spectrum Health. She received her medical degree from Michigan State University and her undergraduate degree in biology from Calvin College.

She said she embraces difficult topics and strives to normalize common struggles such as painful periods, sexual dysfunction, urinary incontinence, relational abuse and chronic pelvic pain.

Davis is passionate about the complexities of both physical and emotional care, as they are often intertwined.

“Nothing excites me more than partnering with women to improve their quality of life and celebrating with them as they achieve their goals,” she said. “I believe my job is to provide women with medical knowledge and information and empower them to apply that knowledge to their life in a way that is best for them.”

Dr. Davis enjoys outdoor recreation and exploring Michigan with her husband and two children. She played lacrosse in college and is a huge Detroit Red Wings fan.
